2021’s Eclipse Season Starts…Now!

May 26th @ 7:13am EST

Full (super)moon, total lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. Hot damn, that’s a mouthful.

This full moon in Sag marks the start of the first eclipse season of the year, which includes today's lunar eclipse as well as the June 10th new moon solar eclipse in Gemini.

It has ties to the Sagittarius/Gemini eclipses that started in June 2020 and will finally come to an end on December 4th this year. Last June was undoubtedly an intense time across the globe. What did it stir up for you, personally? Are any patterns resurfacing?

Eclipses can already be an intense time, and this one is likely to be especially so, given that it is a supermoon, meaning that the moon is closer than usual to the earth. Supermoons affect the tides and cause bigger waves in the ocean, and can similarly affect on our emotional waves as well.

KARMIC RECKONING

Eclipse seasons are powerful times to work with our karma/dharma. The energy of the past that we need to reconcile with (karma), as well as that of the future which points to our life's purpose (dharma).

Each year we have 2 eclipse seasons, both of which are powerful portals for karmic reckoning. They are super-charged periods that urge us to let go of what no longer is serving us. To cut ties with whatever has been holding us back, so that we may move towards our truest and highest potential.

You know, casual shit.

BROADENING PERSPECTIVE

This full moon eclipse in Sagittarius asks us to expand our consciousness - to broaden our perspective. To not get stuck in dogmatic thinking (which is low-vibe Sag) but rather to remain open to life's many possibilities, and to have faith in a larger purpose.

Sagittarius is a freedom lover. A truth teller. A pusher of boundaries. And what could be more exemplary of those things than being real with ourselves (and others) about what is stopping us from stepping into our power, and then starting the process of letting that sh*t go.

JUPITER IN PISCES

This full moon lunar eclipse is also forming a contentious square to abundant Jupiter in dreamy Pisces.

Squares create tension for the purpose of evolution. They light a fire under our ass - one that is unavoidable - that forces us to actually deal with our sh*t and by doing so, find a truer and deeper healing.

Jupiter in Pisces reminds us that we are boundless, expansive beings. This square pushes us to acknowledge and deal with what is binding us. With how we are binding ourselves.

TO SUM IT UP:

To sum it up:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
