My journey to astrology
For the longest time, my encounters with astrology were vaguely worded horoscopes or declarations about the kind of person I was. Some things resonated, others not so much, but being boxed into a single personality type didn’t feel right (and neither did everyone in the world fitting into one of 12 categories). For whatever reason, I was still drawn to astrology - but it wasn’t until I sat on a remote beach in Thailand that I fell in love with it. There, as part of my first yoga teacher training, an astrologer read my chart, and for the first time I glimpsed how much more it had to offer.
Those two studies - yoga and astrology - have grown alongside one another for the better part of the last decade. Up until a couple years ago, I solely shared my yogic studies with the world - having the immense privilege of teaching in Singapore, New York, and London - while keeping my astrological studies more private. But slowly, I started to share what I learned from the stars. First with my family. Then friends. And now, you.
My approach to astrology is to make it as accessible and digestible as possible - to bring the lofty energies from the sky down to earth in a way that you can understand and apply. It’s not about predicting your future, but seeing - and appreciating - who you are. My hope is the wisdom from your chart allows you to recognize the unique energies you bring into the world. To get to know and love yourself, and others, better.
