March’s Full Moon in Libra

Libra is the sign of the peacekeeper. It's the harmonizer of the zodiac. It is motivated to build and maintain harmonious relationships.

When the need to keep the peace is taken to excess, it can lead to people-pleasing or codependent tendencies.

This full moon asks us to take a look at that - to notice how balanced our relationships are. To recognize if there are areas in our lives where we are playing small. Where we are not asserting our wants and our needs, for the sake of keeping the peace.

The sun in Aries reminds us that it is necessary to be assertive. Aries is the sign of the warrior and isn’t afraid to fight for what it feels it deserves. The sun also happens to be conjunct Venus, the planet of relationships (and the ruler of Libra), and Chiron, the wounded healer.

In addition to that, the moon in Libra is in a harmonious trine with Mars, the planet of action, in Gemini, the sign of communication.

Basically what all that jargon means is that there is a LOT of energy in the sky that is spurring us towards speaking our Truth. Towards asserting our wants and needs.

Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of relationships, and the goddess of beauty + art + peace + harmony.

When we are able to find the balance between these two energies - Libra the peacekeeper and Aries the warrior - we give ourselves the chance to find the true peace and true harmony that Libra so craves.

When we are all free to speak our truth, our relationships have the space to grow and flourish.

And who doesn’t want that?
